Equine Massage

Equine massage provides better preparation and recovery for your sport horse.
It releases physical and mental tension, promoting the free flow of energy to bring relaxation and well-being.
Why Equine Massage?
Equine massage is a form of manual therapy inspired by Japanese shiatsu, adapted for horses.
By applying finger pressure to the horse's energy meridians, this technique aims to restore energy balance, prevent health problems, and treat various muscle tensions or joint pain.
What Are the Benefits of Massage for Your Horse?
General well-being
It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves blood circulation.
Prevention
To maintain the horse's overall health by anticipating and treating muscle tension before it becomes a more serious problem. It boosts the immune system.
Treatment of physical issues
For muscle pain, joint problems, or energy imbalances. It optimizes the locomotor system. It improves the digestive system and lymphatic circulation (diarrhea, ulcers).
Performance enhancement
By promoting better physical condition and reducing the risk of injury.
When Should You Consider Massage?
Equine massage is suitable for both sport horses and leisure horses. It promotes better preparation and optimal recovery after competitions.
It is also recommended for motor, organic, or behavioral difficulties, or during periods of stress.
Used preventively, it helps maintain the immune system in good shape, particularly during seasonal changes. Finally, it can be used alongside veterinary treatment to improve the animal's physical and mental comfort.
For All Horses
Massages are suitable for all horses, regardless of breed, age, or sex.
Performed as a complement to veterinary care, they promote overall body balance and support harmonious functioning, without ever replacing medical treatment.
How a Session Works
A session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, including medical history and discussion. The first treatment may take a little longer, as it includes a complete analysis of the situation. Travel costs are included in the price. No medical diagnosis is made: Shiatsu does not replace veterinary care. In case of acute illness or emergency, please consult a veterinarian.
